About Bea's Tax Service, LLC

Hi, my name is Beate Ventura, the owner of Bea's Tax Service. I grew up in Germany and came to the US in 1982 with my husband, who had been stationed at Ramstein Air Base. We have 4 children.

In 1991 I took a tax class and over the years I worked myself up from preparing returns with pencil and paper to teaching basic and employee classes at H&R Block as well as managing an office for several years. In 2001 I completed my studies and passed the enrolled agent exam given by the Internal Revenue Service. To keep my certification I need to take a minimum of 24 hours of continuing education every year including ethics and updates. Since my employment with Block was seasonal I started to look at other options. That's when I found my niche at a small CPA Firm in Plymouth, MI. There I added bookkeeping and payroll to my resume and I also took some accounting classes at the local community college.

After my husband retired from his second career, we decided it was time to move a little further south and we bought our new home in Mountain Rest, SC. I found another CPA Firm in Seneca and after the owner retired I decided to start my own business and "Bea's Tax Service" was born.

My life has been influenced by many different people over the years. I have learned from their successes and failures as well as my own. I am dedicated to tax and accounting services and feel that I can help my clients achieve their dreams by drawing on my experience and knowledge gained over the years.
